Waked around the town and helped the economy a bit. People watching is incredible too!
The picture on the left is a javelina. Looks like a pig but it isn't. They come out at night and make a mess. Haven't seen one but my garbage was well aware they were here. Asher's nose also could tell! The pink one, well, make up your own story! Did a lot of sightseeing and driving around. It is just so beautiful! I went to the church of....... that was built into the mountain. Wow, wow, wow!!!
It started to rain, like it did everyday, but this was lightning, thundering, pouring rain. Was getting all kinds of flash flood alerts on my phone so I thought it best to go back to RV and spend the evening! The rain actually lasted through the whole night. By morning the sun was out and a bit cooler!
So I drove around the town of Old Historic Cottonwood. What a cute little town. Happened upon this cute Head shop. Haven't been in one of those for 100 years, lol!
Bought myself a new bong, a really nice pipe, some rolling paper and.......only kidding. I did buy myself a singing bowl!
Had to be at airport by 4:30 for helicopter tour so I spent some time with Asher and left him again. He is such a good boy and an understanding child!
While I was waiting at the tour office in walks a father and son. I said, self, I know this guy. What a small world. He was the boyfriend and the dad of my friends daughter in NC! It turns out we were on the same flight. Not in a million years.......
Remember the church in the mountain from earlier? Well, here it is from 1500 feet up in the air!
I went and had dinner right next to the airport and waited for the sunset. Great way to end my time in Sedona.
I leave in the morning for Holbrook, AZ where I will meet my friend Mike. He flew into Tuscon to see his sons. We will spend a few days together. Go to painted desert and petrified forest. Hopefully see some of the perseid meteors!
NOW THAT IS AWESOME!!!! A Helicopter ride to see the beauty of the world from GOD'S sight!!!
